Circle K is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead their store operations. The Store Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and managing employees to ensure excellent customer service and maintain store standards. This role involves developing and assigning tasks, managing inventory, controlling cash, and ensuring the site is clean, stocked, and well-organized. The Store Manager also develops positive relationships with suppliers, resolves customer complaints, and promotes a safe and positive public image within the community. Key responsibilities include preparing performance appraisals, training employees on customer service, safety procedures, and marketing execution, and ensuring effective communication among staff. The Store Manager must also evaluate site needs, develop action plans, organize site files, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Financial responsibilities include analyzing sales and expenses, managing P&L lines and merchandise margins, and safeguarding all financial transactions. The role requires working indoors with occasional exposure to outdoor elements and temperature extremes, as well as occasional noise. The Store Manager must work with a minimum of direction and supervision, acting as an effective manager, supervisor, and leader.
