About The Position

Fabletics is seeking a Retail Store Manager for its store at The Mall in Columbia in Columbia, Maryland. The Store Manager leads the store’s sales and operations, creating a high-quality retail environment and a seamless shopping experience across the company’s website and retail stores. The role includes recruiting, hiring, training, and developing associates and leaders, and guiding the career paths of a team of 10 to 12 associates and leaders. The manager works with Store Leaders and cross-functional teams to meet business goals and provide excellent customer experiences.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a manager in a retail environment.
Knowledge of and familiarity with active lifestyle activities such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, and nutrition.
Ability to interact socially with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside the store.
Ability to work with large teams and set personal and professional goals for oneself and others.
Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort building advanced spreadsheet models.
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
Familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and retail inventory and POS systems.
Self-motivated, with strong communication skills and the ability to bring out the best in others.
Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
At least 18 years of age.
Willingness to work onsite on a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing may be required.

Responsibilities

Model the company’s culture and values through self-accountability.
Recruit, hire, and train store Associates and Supervisors to engage customers in meaningful ways.
Drive customer engagement in and outside the store through events, promotions, and community projects.
Direct the daily activities of Store Supervisors and Associates in alignment with company and store goals.
Work with Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Fulfillment, and other cross-functional teams to address needs and requests in a timely and responsible manner.
Manage operational tasks related to payroll, inventory, and paperwork to ensure efficiency.
Develop and maintain store merchandising guidelines that make the store easy to shop and add value to the customer journey.
Gather and provide feedback across the organization to support continuous business improvement.
Set personal and professional goals for team members and support their development.
