About The Position

Our retail stores provide the fuel, the face, and the gateway to all the awesome services we provide for individuals, families, and organizations in the communities we serve. A Retail Store Manager is responsible for supervising and leading his/her retail team and executing operating procedures to ensure GoodwillSR goals and budgets are being reached. The Store Manager will practice problem-solving, budget analysis, and safety-forward thinking to produce and drive results.

Requirements

Level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an associate degree program
3 years managing a retail operation and leading a team

Responsibilities

Guide, support, and coach retail team members on customer service, engagement, and processing and warehouse efficiency
Generate labor schedules and delegate assignments
Manage store operations regarding recruiting, hiring, training, and team development; complete and submit all related documentation
Analyze reports such as daily budget analysis, retail budget, profit by item, department totals, etc., and base decisions on those results
Develop action plans to support continuous improvement for areas such as production, customer service, sales, safety, logistics, etc.
Prioritize safety for team members, customers, and donors by ensuring all work areas are free of clutter, and all GoodwillSR safety procedures are followed
Input daily donations, production counts, and salvage inventory
Perform all operating procedures such as relative fiduciary duties, opening the store, printing reports, scheduling meetings, completing and submitting GoodwillSR documentation, etc.
Manage maintenance and supplies for the Retail Store and associated Attended Donation Centers
Integrate GoodwillSR Mission and values in all daily activities
Perform all other duties as assigned by the District Manager
