About The Position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day sales and store operations while meeting excellent customer service standards. The manager leads and supports the sales team, monitors financial and inventory information, ensures products are available and displayed appropriately, and oversees payroll, recruiting, hiring, and employee training. The role also handles daily operational tasks for institutional sales and rental accounts, promotes the Music & Arts lesson program, and assists teachers. The position is bonus and incentive eligible, with a stated pay rate of $19.00–$21.00 per hour depending on location, background, and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Musical experience and interest.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales team through coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation, and other information needed to help employees meet sales objectives.
• Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
• Ensure all products in the store are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
• Oversee and manage payroll, recruiting, hiring, and training of store employees.
• Execute daily operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
