About The Position

Bob's Carpet, a leading provider of quality flooring solutions for residential and commercial spaces in South Florida, is seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Flooring Store Manager to lead their retail showroom in Lakeland. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail showroom operations, with the primary goal of ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction while driving sales and achieving business objectives.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Knowledge of flooring products and materials, as well as installation processes.
Proficiency in inventory management and retail operations software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day operations of the retail showroom, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and staff supervision.
Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, offering expert advice, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Training, coaching, and motivating sales staff to achieve individual and team sales goals, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to uphold the highest level of quality and professionalism.
