About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager in-Training to lead our sales-driven team and contribute to the store’s overall sales success. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing and motivating sales teams, creating business strategies to boost revenue, developing promotional materials, and training staff. Additionally, you will handle financial record-keeping, maintain exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of retail sales and leadership experience (appliances preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, solve complex problems, and lead a team to sales success.
  • Proficient in MS Office, credit card systems, and EPass.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate employee performance. Maintain full staffing levels and provide opportunities for growth and training to create a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage orders, and maintain showroom standards. Ensure accurate placement of barcodes and pricing, as well as performing warranty audits.
  • Track store expenses, submit paperwork, and oversee accurate daily closing procedures to maintain financial health and profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, address concerns, and foster an inclusive environment that ensures customers have a positive experience and feel valued.
  • Keep the store showroom in excellent condition ("Grand Opening Ready"), schedule regular cleaning, and ensure compliance with all safety and operational regulations.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, and distribute marketing materials to enhance the store’s visibility and revenue.
  • Coach, train, and develop sales associates while setting performance goals that align with sales objectives.
  • Participate in all company management training & development programs and activities.
  • Set and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals based on team performance and store sales targets.
