About The Position

This is a paid 10-week internship for college students eager to gain real-world experience in retail management with a Fortune 6 company revolutionizing health care. The mission is to become the most consumer-centric health care company, and the program seeks driven, innovative students to help achieve this vision. As a Retail Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience leading a retail team, engaging directly with customers, and learning the day-to-day operations of a successful store. You will develop leadership skills, learn retail management best practices, and gain exposure to the broader organization through market travel. A business-focused project addressing a real business opportunity will be completed and presented to leadership. The internship will teach how to motivate and manage a store team, analyze business performance, and understand the impact of operational and strategic decisions on customer satisfaction and store results. The role involves supporting operational activities like merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking, and meeting customer needs during busy periods, including evenings and weekends. The program offers rewarding and impactful experience, allowing meaningful contributions and valuable real-world exposure to retail operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program
  • Expect to receive their degree (associate or bachelor) between May 2027 and May 2028
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program on a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced work environment such as retail, food service, hospitality etc.
  • Effective communication, problem solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Must be interested in pursuing a career in retail store management

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience is highly desired
