About The Position

This paid 10-week internship immerses students in the fast-paced world of retail management within a Fortune 6 company revolutionizing health care. The program aims to help students gain hands-on experience leading a retail team, engaging with customers, and understanding the day-to-day operations of a successful store. Interns will develop leadership skills, learn retail management best practices, and gain exposure to the broader organization through market travel. A key component involves completing a business-focused project to address a real business opportunity, with findings presented to leadership. The internship focuses on motivating and managing a store team, analyzing business performance, and understanding the impact of operational and strategic decisions on customer satisfaction and store results. It offers the chance to be at the center of the customer experience, supporting operational activities like merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking, while helping the store meet customer needs during busy periods, including evenings and weekends. The experience is designed to be rewarding and impactful, providing valuable real-world exposure to retail operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program
  • Expect to receive associate or bachelor's degree between May 2027 and May 2028
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced work environment (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality)
  • Effective communication skills
