About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures. Responsibilities include dusting and damp mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. This may involve mixing cleaning solutions. The role requires deep cleaning of key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The team member must keep cleaning equipment neat, notify supervisors of supply needs, and take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. All tasks must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers is crucial, serving as a role model and projecting a positive image. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required for compliance.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
  • Notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
  • Execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
