About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The Team Member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and contribute to a positive shopping environment. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship from Store, participating in truck unloads and stocking, supporting safety and shrink programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix cleaning solutions as needed.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out and complete cleaning tasks proactively.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
