About The Position

The Seasonal Peak Associate supports essential store operations during peak seasons and in newly opened stores. Duties include register support, freight receiving, and merchandising products in designated areas to contribute to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations. The role works in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

Requirements

Basic math and reading skills.
Legible handwriting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform the role’s physical activities, including frequent use of hand tools, ladder use, moving, reaching, and lifting; ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.
Prior merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking experience in retail or warehouse environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service, build friendly rapport using the T.R.E.A.T. model, and foster a welcoming environment.
Operate a cash register, handle transactions accurately, and help customers with product inquiries, locating items, and purchases.
Promote company customer initiatives, including donations, loyalty programs, and special offers.
Maintain displays, restock assigned areas, and meet merchandising standards.
Unload deliveries according to company processes, organize merchandise, and prepare it for the sales floor.
Set up and move fixtures safely as needed.
Collaborate with others and work independently to achieve goals; communicate opportunities for improvement to store leadership.
Understand, support, and implement store safety protocols.
Maintain a neat, organized, and safe environment through regular cleaning and janitorial tasks.
Perform other job duties and tasks as requested by supervisors or managers.
