Retail Stock Associate
About The Position
Rooms To Go is hiring a Retail Stock Associate to work in its retail stores. This fast-paced, multifaceted position involves packaging, wrapping, and loading furniture purchases for customers; arranging furniture in the showroom at the direction of designers and managers; and maintaining the showroom's overall appearance and cleanliness. The role requires lifting, loading, unloading, and/or assembling furniture, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly each day. General cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred. The schedule is flexible and includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior furniture or janitorial experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive daily basis.
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- General cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred.
- Prior furniture and/or janitorial experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Package and wrap furniture purchases for customers.
- Load furniture purchases for customers.
