About The Position

Slick City Action Park is looking for a Retail Specialist to help lead our candy store, Sweet City. This role involves managing inventory, supporting a team, driving sales, and creating a positive guest experience. The Retail Specialist will work closely with the Management Team, Slick City staff, and the Merchandising Department to ensure smooth operations and deliver the "OMG Experience".

Requirements

Prior retail experience, ideally with some supervisory responsibility.
Highly organized, with strong multitasking skills.
Tech-savvy or a fast learner with POS systems.
Great communicator who works well across teams.
Available weekends and holidays, with flexibility for schedule changes based on business needs.
Comfortable with basic math and cash handling.
Able to stand and move around for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 25–30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with CenterEdge software.
Experience in a family entertainment center, amusement park, or similar high-energy environment.
Experience with inventory management systems.
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

Train team members to open and close the store.
Keep the store stocked, sparkling clean, and fun to shop.
Handle cash procedures and daily reconciliation.
Follow all health, safety, and food handling standards.
Operate the POS system for daily transactions and train team members on its use.
Manage ordering, receiving, and stock/par levels for inventory.
Count inventory regularly and maintain accuracy.
Collaborate with the Merchandising Department on product selection, restocks, and promotions.
Build relationships with management and key team members.
Train, coach, and support the team to foster a fun, positive, guest-first culture.
Partner with the Management Team and Slick City staff to align retail operations with park activities.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Provide input on pricing and promotions.
Achieve sales and profitability goals.
Deliver friendly, fast service that defines the Slick City "OMG Experience".
Handle guest questions or concerns with patience and professionalism.
Maintain high energy and a fun atmosphere.
