About The Position

The Woodstock Inn & Resort and Saskadena Six Ski Area are seeking Retail Shop Attendants to join their team. As a Retail Shop Attendant, you will be an integral part of the dynamic team, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests. Your role will be pivotal in creating lasting memories for winter sports enthusiasts by assisting customers with purchases and maintaining the retail shop display areas.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop and lift merchandise.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Sound knowledge base of ski/snowboard industry and equipment operation.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly, personalized shopping experience.
• Engage with guests to build rapport, offer recommendations, and answer questions about merchandise.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including packaging purchased items.
• Restock and organize the sales floor throughout the day, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety and organization of the shop and storage areas.
• Receive, price, and process incoming inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliations and preparing the shop for the next business day.
