About The Position

EZPAWN is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to provide customer service, promote sales, negotiate deals for a wide variety of pawn items, and support and coach store Team Members. The role offers a structured career path, including a paid five-week training program and further leadership training toward an Assistant Manager position. Successful completion of the initial training program results in a $0.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker. The position is based at 50 West 7200 South, Midvale, Utah 84047. Pay is $16.00–$18.00 based on experience, with monthly bonus potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation skills, and ability to assess and manage customer needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build ongoing customer relationships.
• Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build ongoing relationships with customers.
• Promote sales and negotiate deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
• Process loans and extensions.
• Agree on mutually satisfactory terms for items to be pawned.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and coach store Team Members.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
