About The Position
EZCORP is seeking a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to join their team, offering a career path with opportunities for advancement. The Retail Shift Leader (Lead Pawn Broker) position offers competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for quick pay and position increases. Completing a 5-week paid training program earns a $.50 raise and a transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Further training programs are available for Assistant Manager positions, building a foundation to run a store.
Requirements
- Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation talents, and the ability to read and manage customer needs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment as well as strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
- Sales background, a plus
- Bilingual, a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers.
- Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
- Process loans and extensions.
- Come to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
- Perform opening and closing store procedures.
- Supervise and coach store Team Members.
