About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a full-time Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder), also referred to as a Lead Pawn Broker, at its Royal Palm Beach, Florida location. The role provides outstanding customer service, builds relationships with customers, promotes sales, and negotiates deals involving a wide variety of pawn items. Shift Leaders help create a friendly, courteous, and respectful customer environment while leading, coaching, and supporting Team Members through hands-on involvement. The position offers a structured career path, including paid initial training and development toward an Assistant Manager role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Engaging personality, leadership skills, negotiation ability, and the ability to understand and manage customer needs.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, judgment, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build ongoing customer relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build solid customer relationships.
• Promote sales and negotiate deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
• Process loans and extensions.
• Negotiate mutually satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and coach store Team Members.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and regulations.
