About The Position

Canna Cabana is actively seeking Part-Time Shift Leaders at our Grant Ave, Winnipeg location. This role is for knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individuals interested in joining a growing company in an emerging industry. As a Shift Leader, you will be an important part of a company where the sky is the limit, contributing to a globally recognized brand in the cannabis industry.

Requirements

  • Must already have, or be able to quickly obtain, Smart Choices Cannabis certification.
  • Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and at least 1-2 years’ retail supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
  • Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule (weekdays, weekends and evenings).
  • A passion for customer service excellence.
  • MS Office suite.
  • POS expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with similar brands/products (not necessary, but an asset).
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Demonstrated abilities in visual planning and merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, coach, and train top talent to ensure the team educates and informs customers.
  • Deliver a knowledgeable, genuine, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure the store is inviting, spotless, and well merchandised.
  • Act as the resident expert and enthusiast on products, ensuring excellent staff training and development.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers and make a positive impact by engaging with the community.
  • Use problem-solving and a collaborative approach to achieve goals.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures.
  • Oversee inventory.
  • Provide feedback on product trends and customer needs.
  • Maintain corporate visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with audits and SLGA requirements.
