If you love entertaining kids, keeping a team motivated, and turning everyday moments into unforgettable memories — this role is for you! 🎉👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🌟 Job Summary As a Retail Shift Lead, you’ll help guide the day-to-day retail operations of our awesome attraction. You’ll step in as the Supervisor on Duty , lead and inspire our team, jump into host positions when needed, and help develop our front-line crew to deliver world-class service — all while keeping things safe, smooth, and super fun! 😄🏆

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 6 months of experience in attractions, entertainment, hospitality, or any guest-focused role 🎠
Customer service skills that shine bright ✨
Experience working with families and kids — and loving it! 👶🎉
Ability to train and motivate others with a fun, outgoing, energetic approach 💬⚡
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Must be able to obtain any required certifications needed to safely and successfully perform this role.
Attendance is essential
Must be willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays — theme park magic never sleeps!
Ability to hear, communicate, and engage with guests and team members
Ability to stand or sit for long periods
Use basic computer tools
Move throughout the attraction (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Perform daily physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating varied spaces 🧱
May work in loud environments or areas with varying temperatures
Work may occur indoors or outdoors
Exposure to heat, cold, damp conditions, or loud sounds
Transitioning between light levels throughout the day
Lift or carry items up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Act as Supervisor on Duty , keeping Admissions, Attractions, Food & Beverage, and Retail running like a well-oiled (and very fun) machine 🚀
Delegate daily tasks and keep our front-line staff engaged, informed, and smiling 😁
Motivate the team to be “guest obsessed” and deliver magical LEGO®-tastic service ✨
Ensure all health & safety policies are followed — safety first! 🦺
Manage queues and guest flow during peak times for a smooth, stress-free experience 🎢
Communicate with other departments to quickly resolve guest questions or concerns 🗣️
Lead training for Hosts in areas like ride safety, food safety, profit protection, and retail excellence 📘
Empower team members to deliver exceptional service — including guest recovery when needed 💛
Evaluate and coach team members to help them grow 🌱
When not duty managing, support your department with training, stocking, inventory, engagement, scheduling, and more 🛍️
Perform other fun and necessary tasks that come with being an awesome leader 💡
