About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing retail security operations, ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers, and preventing loss. The role requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to facilitate change and continuous improvement. The company reserves the right to modify, supplement, delete, or augment duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Clear a criminal background check.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
• Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Minimum 3 -- 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.
• State Guard license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee retail security operations.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Prevent loss.
• Facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
• Perform duties within the facility, which may include pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting up to 25 lbs for event evacuation, stair climbing, sitting, twisting, turning, and bending.
• Stand for long periods of time.
