About The Position

Securitas is hiring Retail Security Specialists to help keep our client’s store, employees, and customers safe. This is a customer-facing position, so we’re looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with all types of people. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, responding to situations as they come up, and providing good customer service throughout your shift.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Professional, reliable, and dependable
• Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements before your start date

Responsibilities

• Monitor the store and surrounding areas for safety and security concerns
• Walk the property and perform regular patrols
• Greet and assist customers and employees when needed
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Help prevent theft and other security issues
• Monitor entrances and exits
• Write clear and accurate incident reports
• Communicate with store management and Securitas leadership
• Follow all site procedures and post orders
