Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older to drive company vehicles.
High school degree or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license.
Valid New Mexico Level II Guard License.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Nice To Haves

Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, if needed.
Able to conduct extended foot patrols of the district area up to and including six hours.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks.
Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation.
Communicate and pass on all pertinent information to fellow team members, other safety teams, and the client.
Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and/or other criminal behavior.
Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, possession of prohibited items).
Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
Ensure all rules and regulations are being enforced and followed.
Perform other duties as determined by management.
