About The Position

TRIDENT is actively recruiting a Retail Security Specialist to deliver skilled safety and security services at retail locations throughout Cupertino, CA. We’re searching for a self-driven individual who is dependable and genuinely committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires sharp situational awareness, a professional demeanor in every interaction, and the ability to act decisively in a busy, fast-moving retail environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must obtain or currently possess a valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
A valid California Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail security or customer service experience is a plus.
If certified, ability to deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED care during medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

Join forces with fellow Security Specialists to protect customers and staff across retail environments.
Carry out regular foot patrols in all assigned zones to keep a visible presence and prevent incidents before they happen.
Watch for, assess, and respond to unusual or potentially unsafe conditions that arise during the shift.
Produce thorough documentation and conduct investigations of security events, accidents, and reported maintenance issues.
Respond to assistance requests from supervisors and client staff quickly and professionally.
Back up client staff during evacuations, emergency responses, or any high-risk events on the premises.
Work with public safety authorities to help manage crowd control situations when needed.
Check employee identification before granting access to secure or restricted client zones.
Keep an eye on parking lot compliance and resolve vehicle-related incidents or complaints on site.
Connect with every customer and employee with a professional, service-focused attitude.
Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED care during medical emergencies (if certified).
Inspect exterior entry points — doors, gates, and windows — to confirm they are properly secured.
