About The Position

The Retail Seasonal Sales Associate position is a limited-time opportunity to be part of the magic at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess during our celebrated Christmas at the Princess events. This role operates pop-up retail kiosks throughout the resort and reports to the Seasonal Retail Supervisors, Senior Supervisors, and Retail Management. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week. The position involves providing professional, friendly, and engaging service to customers, up-selling merchandise, maintaining shop neatness, replenishing stock, performing cashiering duties, utilizing basic sales techniques, promoting exclusive merchandise, participating in stock-takes and inventories, ensuring shop cleanliness, and adhering to department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety policies. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience within retail preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or Point of Sales System required
• Must be revenue driven
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Previous Hotel experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Attend to customers in a professional and polite manner while up-selling merchandise
• Ensure the shop is neatly maintained and stock is replenished
• All cashiering duties
• Provide basic sales techniques and promote “Fairmont” exclusive merchandise to customers
• Partake in stock-take and month end inventories
• Ensure the shop is clean at all times
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
