About The Position

The Retail Seasonal Sales Associate works in a Yankee Candle retail store and reports to the Store Manager. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving sales growth by understanding guest needs, using product knowledge, building customer relationships, and supporting loyalty initiatives. The associate also helps maintain store standards, supports team effectiveness and store operations, and works to achieve or exceed key performance indicators. The role requires working in a fragrance-filled environment and flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school completion or equivalent GED.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Create a welcoming store environment focused on an exceptional guest experience.
Understand guest needs through product knowledge and make emotional connections.

Maintain store appearance according to company visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values.
Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
Support inventory management activities and control expenses.
Incorporate safety and loss prevention into daily activities and follow company policies and the Code of Ethics.
Strive to achieve or exceed KPI goals through strategic planning, effective execution, and continuous performance improvement.
