About The Position

The Retail Seasonal Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience practices, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports a positive store culture, store recovery, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction goals. Retail customer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide the correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
