About The Position

This is a permanent PART-TIME role, estimating anywhere from 4-6 hours per week, depending on store size and project requirements. As a Retail Scan Associate, you will visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. This role offers workplace independence, flexibility in hours, and job consistency, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday. You will use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes and will be asked to provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned. Weekly deadlines are critical for data delivery, requiring dependability and quality-driven action.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Provide the quantity of approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly.
• Perform Custom Projects as requested by clients, which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store per week.
