About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and throughout aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan barcodes and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

This permanent part-time role averages 5–12 base hours per week across all assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special projects are frequently assigned, typically adding 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Associates complete weekly display scanning, which may take several hours per store, and may also complete custom projects providing more detail about products in main stocking locations. Work is assigned every week of the year, including holiday weeks, and associates must meet store deadlines. The role involves continuous physical activity and offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and be able to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
