About The Position

This is a permanent part-time role with base hours averaging 6-11 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours for special projects are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The role involves visiting designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to improve sales performance for products and retailers. Being a Retail Scan Associate offers workplace independence, flexibility in hours, and job consistency, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store.
• Collect data that is analyzed to improve sales performance.
• Use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store.
• Perform Custom Projects which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store per week.
