The Retail Sales Support role is a hands-on opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. You’ll work closely with customers, sales reps, and operations while building the skills and experience needed to grow into a successful sales career. Requirements

Experience working in a produce department, deli, grocery, foodservice, or wholesale produce environment
Knowledge of fresh produce, deli products, food quality, or inventory management
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email throughout the day
Strong attention to detail with order entry and pricing accuracy
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
Comfortable learning new systems and technology
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
High school diploma or GED
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with retail customers by providing responsive, friendly service
Contact assigned customers each day to collect and enter produce and deli orders
Process new orders, order changes, cancellations, and credits accurately
Answer customer questions about products, pricing, availability, and promotions
Recommend seasonal products and communicate inventory updates
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Resolve customer concerns quickly while maintaining a high level of service
Perform warehouse walks to monitor inventory, product quality, and availability
Stay informed on seasonal produce, deli offerings, and market trends
Maintain accurate customer records and order information using company systems
Support additional sales and operational projects as needed
