About The Position

C.A. Fortune is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Specialist to service Hy-Vee stores. This role involves selling products, building relationships with store management, securing and maintaining product distribution, and performing reporting tasks. The position requires independent work, adherence to direction, and excellent communication skills. A hybrid schedule is observed with half days on Fridays. The role is based in Minneapolis, MN, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Local to the Minneapolis, MN area.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are all required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
1 year of Merchandising experience.
A clean driving record.
Positive and professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, Email, and Internet Explorer).
Access to a cell phone, printer, and computer with internet accessibility.
May be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

Selling products, building relationships with store management, and gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
Performing reporting tasks in a reporting system.
Representing a diverse portfolio of national and regional brands, calling on Hy-Vee.
Functioning as the primary liaison between store leadership and manufacturer partners to maximize shelf space, promotional execution, and distribution.
Pitching new products, securing incremental placement, and adapting to quickly shifting business needs while consistently delivering sales objectives.
Utilizing mobile technology to take photos, report findings, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Traveling to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Maintaining a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Adhering to attendance and dress code guidelines.
Performing physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. throughout the workday.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Attending client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
