About The Position
The Retail Sales Representative works in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment and serves as a connection between customers and the T-Mobile brand. The role focuses on customer service, sales, and building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. Compensation includes base pay and commission, with the posting stating potential earnings of up to $20 or more per hour all in. The representative supports store operations, meets assigned performance metrics, maintains the retail environment, and helps customers with wireless service, plans, devices, and payments. The position is part-time and requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of retail and/or sales experience with a strong customer focus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across business channels.
- Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits in accordance with operational control standards.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail standards.
- Explore customer needs and assist with service activations and changes, bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Achieve assigned performance metrics.
