About The Position

The JF Petroleum Group is a leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, providing comprehensive solutions for distribution, construction, and service. This sales position is responsible for growing sales and profitability of Equipment, Construction, and Service. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, with base salary paid bi-weekly and commission paid monthly. Key performance indicators include meeting monthly sales and gross margin targets, as well as performance against targets for quotations, order conversions, and sales funnel size.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong Sales skills / proficiency required.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel locally.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds.
  • Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
  • Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Forecourt and back-office Retail Petroleum Sales experience preferred but NOT required.
  • PEI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales and profitability of Equipment, Construction, and Service.
  • Develop and effectively deliver and close on customer proposals.
  • Apply proven discovery processes and skills to determine customer needs.
  • Develop proposals which successfully balance customer needs with JF Petroleum profitability requirements.
  • Successfully negotiate and close on customer proposals.
  • Follow-up on and close assigned sales leads.
  • Profitably develop and manage relationships with customers.
  • Work extensively with Service and Construction teams and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of proposals.
