About The Position
Dealer Tire, a family-owned, international distributor of tires and parts established in 1918, is seeking driven individuals to join their team as Retail Tire Sales Representatives. This role is ideal for top performers in retail sales who are skilled at building relationships, uncovering needs, and closing deals. You will work inside a premium OEM automotive dealership, representing Dealer Tire as the go-to tire expert after completing a comprehensive, fully paid training program. The role involves engaging customers, selling tires to exceed goals, performing quick tire inspections, identifying and explaining tire-related issues, recommending service, quoting prices, maintaining relationships with customers and dealership teams, and supporting store operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail, service, or sales experience, automotive experience preferred.
- Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills.
- A natural relationship builder with strong sales instincts.
- Comfortable using computer-based tools and order systems.
Responsibilities
- Engaging customers on the service drive and selling tires to exceed assigned goals.
- Performing quick tire inspections.
- Identifying and explaining tire related issues, recommending service, and quoting prices.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealership teams.
- Supporting store operations like inventory, opening/closing, and reporting.
