About The Position
The Eastwood Company is seeking a part-time Automotive Retail Sales Associate for their Pottstown location. This role is ideal for car enthusiasts, restorers, and weekend mechanics who enjoy discussing automotive projects and assisting customers in finding the right tools and supplies. The position involves engaging with customers about their projects, recommending products, providing a positive in-store experience, demonstrating products, stocking inventory, and maintaining store organization.
Requirements
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Automotive restoration or repair experience a plus (MIG/TIG welding, fabrication, bodywork, or use of Eastwood products)
- Comfortable engaging with customers and solving problems
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn the POS system
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and retrieve items from shelves
- Ability to spend most of the shift standing or walking
Responsibilities
- Talk cars with customers and learn about their projects
- Recommend tools, supplies, and solutions to help customers succeed
- Provide a great in-store experience from greeting through checkout
- Demonstrate or explain Eastwood products when appropriate
- Receive and stock inventory
- Help keep the store organized, clean, and well stocked
- Work collaboratively with your retail team
