The Retail Sales Merchandiser (RSM) is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure Client standards are met and volume is increased. This role involves maintaining client objectives by ensuring secondary placements of product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics. The RSM will also ensure shelf standards and conditions meet client schematic standards, maintain full distribution on existing SKUs, and take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials. They will prepare for and respond to audits, manage time and prioritize for store call coverage, and complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports. The RSM will also communicate effectively internally with management and externally with customers, build rapport with clients and customers, and field questions and proactively develop action plans to resolve issues. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, quality work, and adherence to all company policies and safety regulations. Travel and driving are essential duties for this job, with up to 20% travel expected. The incumbent must maintain a current and valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
