About The Position

The Retail Sales Manager leads a team of sales reps to drive revenue. This key role will oversee daily operations, work to achieve daily sales targets (including their own), and resolve customer escalations. They will also train staff on new tools and resources and help create proposals and estimates for clients. This role will report to the Sales Manager and partner with the Install and Project Manager. Lead by example in sales performance to increase revenue and achieve substantial garage door sales. Mentor and train less-experienced team members by sharing industry knowledge and best practices. Create estimates with accurate pricing, materials, and measurements to ensure client satisfaction. Provide ongoing training and guidance to your sales team to ensure they present accurate estimates to clients and use tracking tools correctly and consistently. Establish and nurture strong relationships with team members, clients, general contractors, architects, and facility managers. Contribute to process improvements and company strategic initiatives to enhance team efficiency. Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Install Manager, and Project Manager to ensure customers receive exactly what they expect. Resolve high-level customer complaints or service issues escalated by team members and assist in closing complex deals. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in garage door or home services sales
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a passion for helping others succeed
  • Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
