About The Position

This role is for a Retail Sales Manager with a focus on Waterski/Drinkware, who will be the face of the SCHEELS experience. The day-to-day involves a mix of high-energy customer interaction and strategic business operations, including providing expert product knowledge, meeting sales goals, analyzing inventory trends, making decisions on merchandise arrangements, stocking merchandise, setting up displays, collaborating with vendors, and participating in and facilitating product knowledge meetings and training.

Requirements

  • Basic math and communication skills are essential for sales and reporting.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma (or GED) and 1–3 months of related experience are preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail and natural leadership qualities.
  • Arrive early (10 minutes is our standard!), bring high energy, and have a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

  • Provide unmatched customer service by sharing deep product knowledge and helping customers find exactly what they need.
  • Meet personal sales goals, analyze inventory trends, and make decisions on merchandise arrangements to keep our floors looking world-class.
  • Maintain a professional environment by stocking merchandise, setting up eye-catching displays, and collaborating with vendors.
  • Participate in weekly product knowledge meetings and facilitate training for your peers.
