About The Position

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You help provide a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter-free. The role may involve working in different areas of the store to maintain sales floors and stockrooms and help customers find merchandise. Responsibilities may include preparing and maintaining the sales floor, assisting customers with transactions, supporting fitting rooms, organizing stockrooms, checking in and ticketing merchandise, following operational and asset protection standards, and promoting Nordstrom Rewards. The position requires continuous movement and frequent handling of merchandise, including some bulky or heavy items. The listed pay range is $17.05–$17.75 per hour. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway-ready, sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions; operate a point-of-sale system, bag items, handle bulky merchandise, and provide a friendly experience.
Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Keep the customer experience clean and clutter-free by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
