About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and contribute to a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes recommending products, services, and promotions; using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions; and following company processes and safety policies. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, keep the store organized, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
