About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find the right parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide advice to support the shopping experience, sales, and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, works with the store team, and helps customers with automotive products and services. The role includes assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow cash-handling procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
