About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to store sales and operations. The role involves assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, maintaining merchandise and store organization, supporting teammates, and using AutoZone systems and diagnostic tools. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations and proper financial management.
• Follow structured processes, company safety policies, and requirements for use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
