About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for a high-energy salon environment. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Associates also help keep the salon clean, meet minimum sales requirements, and work collaboratively with teammates while following company policies and procedures. The position may require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Ability to provide professional customer service and engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.
• Ability to recommend products and services.
• Ability to meet minimum sales requirements.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from the floor.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Engage with clients, build relationships, understand their needs, and make appropriate product and service recommendations.
• Meet minimum sales requirements.
• Multi-task, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients as they arrive.
• Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
• Work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
• Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
