About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, maintain inventory, assist customers with product selection, and share automotive advice. Retail Sales Associates help deliver WOW! Customer Service, support sales and store operations, and contribute to a positive retail environment. The role includes assisting customers, recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, following safety and point-of-sale procedures, learning about automotive products, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations and proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
