About The Position

The Cashier provides excellent customer experiences by creating an exceptional shopping experience through eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and efficient execution of Front-End operations. The role supports customers and teammates across the store and helps maintain an inclusive environment where customers and teammates feel welcome, safe, and respected.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and occasionally lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established Front-End procedures.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
