About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports store culture, sales-floor merchandising and recovery, accurate transaction processing, safety, and shrink-reduction goals.

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers while modeling established customer experience practices.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
