About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and providing product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate helps create a positive, knowledgeable shopping experience, supports sales and store operations, and contributes to a productive team environment. The role includes assisting customers with automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and safety procedures, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Basic automotive parts knowledge, bilingual Spanish-English communication, automotive retail experience, and ASE certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
