About The Position

Pacific Whale Foundation is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team as a Retail Sales Associate. This role is seasonal, full-time, and non-exempt, with a starting pay of $17.00/hr plus commission. The position is located in Kihei, Maui or Maalaea, Maui. The Retail Sales Associate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with sales, handle transactions, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, all while supporting the foundation's mission to protect the ocean through science and advocacy.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of retail experience
• Reliable, confident, and outgoing personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
• Ability to work well with others
• Adapt to a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Capable of standing for long periods and safely lifting up to 35lbs
• Must currently reside on Maui
• Must be 18+ years old
