About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, supports the team, recommends products and services, and contributes to a positive retail environment. The role also includes assisting with certain installations and using diagnostic tools to help customers identify vehicle issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support store operations.
• Follow established processes and company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
