About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and contribute to a positive retail environment. They work with managers and teammates to meet customer needs and store goals, stay informed about automotive products and promotions, and may use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The role is part-time and requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help create a motivated and productive store environment.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
Use structured processes to complete tasks and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
